Come join Nano in his nomad kitchen. This time we are going for a trip to the middle east.

Think abundance of colours, textures, scents and a huge array of different things to eat together!

On this course we will make:
Falafel
Pita Bread
Hummus
Arab Chicken
Arab Salads
Babaganoush
"Desert" Tabbouleh (yes, Desert not dessert)
Knafe
Welcome to Nano's middle eastern kitchen!
On this class I will share with you some of the dishes taught to me during my travels.
We will first get some things cooking and on the go and then we can rest easy while we continue to know each other and I tell you what I know of the dishes and cuisine we are visiting.
Then it will be action time to finish our prep and put it all together to feast on our creations!

Emiliano (Nano) Farias

I trained as a professional chef in Argentina and have spent the past 12 years building my cooking career in New Zealand; working in restaurants, cafés, catering events, and kitchens of all kinds, both fancy and not-so-fancy.

Over time, life changes and personal growth have shifted my path, and I’ve found that sharing knowledge in the kitchen feels more meaningful than ever. I believe I can reach more tables by helping others feel confident and capable in their own cooking.

My food philosophy is more relaxed now. I love exploring flavors and textures, and I believe food should be something we enjoy, not just something that fuels or heals us.

Chances are, you’re already cooking in some way. This course is simply about building on what you already do by adding confidence, creativity, and intention to your everyday kitchen life.
