Learn to write scripts for short films, TV commercials and graphic novels. This intensive practical class will cover effective ways to: generate ideas, plot them out, create an outline and turn it into a professional script. Also covered: revising drafts, creating characters, story structure, dialogue and theme.
Roger will share samples from professional projects he’s worked on, anecdotes from a long career in the industry and advice on how to work with a storyboard artist.

Please come along with a rough germ of an idea. Also bring a laptop if you can.
Roger has storyboarded short films and TV commercials for over twenty years, working closely with leading directors in London and Auckland. He writes graphic novels, short stories and plays and is an experienced lecturer (AUT, Whitecliffe, SAE London, University of Teesside).
