There are TWO OPTIONS for Te Reo Māori Continuing Beginners. These are for those who have already done a beginners class or have started their Te Reo journey already.

Our Te Reo Māori courses are free to Tangata whenua thanks to Waiheke Local Board.
Course Details
An introduction to Te Reo Māori. This course will begin with learning to express and to talk about yourself and your whānau in Te Reo Māori.
This course will include pronunciation, greetings, waiata and karakia, an introduction to pepeha, tikanga and mihi. There will also be an introduction to tenses, pronouns and basic sentence structures.
This course will use Scotty Morrison’s “Te Reo Māori Made Easy” as a resource to support the course.This can be ordered from Paper Plus https://www.paperplus.co.nz/shop/books/non-fiction/education-reference/languages-esol/maori-made-easy
This course is subsidised by TEC funding for NZ citizens and permanent residents which requires commitment to attend the full course.
