Te Akomanga Māori with Kaiwai Rhind

For students at all levels up to intermediate.  

This class will extend kōrerorero and conversational te reo Māori, as well as confidence with mihimihi, pēpeha, karakia and waiata.

Revision will be included of:

• Pronouns
• Basic sentence structures including:
  
  • Active sentences and tenses 
  • Descriptive sentences
  • Negating sentences  
• Vocabulary
• Possession – use of a and o
• Possessive pronouns
• Extended sentence structures including: 
  • Locative 
  • Passive and Stative sentences
  • Agent Emphatic
• Listening and understanding pre recorded kōrero
• Māori language literature
• Whakapākehātia me whakamāoritia
