Tutor

Hola, my name is Sergio and I’m passionate about teaching languages. I’m an enthusiastic individual and I have had substantial experience teaching English, Portuguese and Spanish language over the past 10 years. I’ve had the pleasure of teaching over 1000 students ranging from early childhood to seniors.

In December 2012 I arrived in New Zealand and have thoroughly enjoyed teaching Spanish in language schools, in companies, and to private students.  My teaching methods are adaptable and I tailor these to suit the learning style of the student or group. Together with traditional written and oral teaching techniques, I bring dynamic and effective ideas to the learning environment. I have had great success with the use of audio and video aids, role-playing, and real-life scenario tests to inspire and motivate students’ learning.
